Interment Rights Holder - Information Update Form

The Town of Essex is requesting that all Interment Rights Holders in the Colchester Memorial Cemetery, Erie Cemetery and Iler Cemetery voluntarily update their contact information, including address, phone number, and email. Keeping this information current ensures that Cemetery Services can reach you regarding important updates and inquiries.

If the Interment Rights Holder for a generational lot is a deceased family member, please contact the Municipal Registrar for assistance. The Municipality can provide guidance on the personal use of generational lots and help facilitate family arrangements.

Please note that this is not an application to transfer ownership of a cemetery lot. If you wish to transfer a lot to another individual, please contact the Clerk’s Office at 519-776-7336 or clerks@essex.ca for more information.
