The Town of Essex is available to answer any questions from electors, candidates, third party advertisers, and the general public regarding the upcoming Municipal Election on October 26, 2026.

Personal information on this form is being collected under the authority of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, c. 32, Sched., s. 88 (5) (10) and will be used for the purpose of assessing an applicant’s request for information and specifically includes Town of Essex Prohibition of the Use of Corporate Resources Policy 2026-12. This document is a public record and any responses made by the Clerk will be available for public inspection in the office of the Clerk, Town of Essex.
Pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2001 c. 25, s. 253 (1) and the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act R.S.O. 1990, c. M.56, s. 29 (1), any person may, at all reasonable times, inspect any of the records under the control of the clerk, including any request for information or inquiry during the election period.
