Community Neighbourhood Clean-up Program

Community clean-ups bring neighbours, colleagues, young and old together for a common cause - cleaning up our community.  They provide an opportunity to see how a small act for a short time can have a great impact. And, when people get involved in their neighbourhoods, parks and open spaces, they are less likely to litter - and more likely to keep it clean.

How can the Town help with a registered clean-up?

The Town will provide bags and gloves to registered clean-ups by making products available for pick-up by the registrant at either arena facility during regular business hours (M-F 9am-4:30pm).  Simply chose your pick up location below.

Further down in this form, you will be asked if this will be a public or private event?  If you choose 'public' we can post the location of your clean-up (as indicated) on our social media sites to draw attention to the event and potentially increase volunteer attendance.

Upon completion of your clean-up event, contact the town at the number provided and the garbages bags will be picked up at the designated location you indicate.

As stated above, you or a representative of your group will be provided with garbage bags and gloves that can be picked up at either of the above indicated arena facilities.
